With the further understanding that the Project must perform research related to Computer Science with a specific focus on Technology and Engineering.
Our Mission
To find new uses for technology thereby extending life cycles with an intent to re-purpose electronic devices responsibly.
The National Upcycled Computing Collective, Inc. (NUCC) intends to re-purpose electronic devices responsibly.
All projects at the National Upcycled Computing Collective, Inc. will progress through six (6) phases as follows:
- Phase 1 – Proof of Concept (PoC)
- Phase 2 – Branding & Packaging
- Phase 3 – Deployment
- Phase 4 – Scaling
- Phase 5 – Observation
- Phase 6 – Completion (White Papers, Licensing, etc.)
All projects entering an Applied Research Center of any location of the National Upcycled Computing Collective, Inc. will start at Phase 1 (PoC) and graduate out as soon as they reach Phase 3 (Deployment).
The Board of Directors of the National Upcycled Computing Collective, Inc. will remain in a perpetual state of Phase 5 (Observation) over these projects and maintains the right to end any project failing to show progress or results in Phase 1 (PoC).
