About Us

The National Upcycled Computing Collective, Inc. (NUCC) breathes new life into thrown-out computing equipment. We empower future cybersecurity professionals to build, tinker, hack, and experiment through the sustainable reuse of computing hardware.

We provide students, professionals, and hobbyists with upcycled
computing equipment that matches their needs at little to no cost.
We enable students in cybersecurity to pursue community-driven educational, outreach, and research opportunities through our services, support, and mentoring.

We support the development of cyber ranges composed primarily of upcycled parts, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars.
We facilitate monthly meetups for security professionals and hacker communities, with high attendance rates from student-run cybersecurity clubs in top universities.
We contribute to a more sustainable future by reclaiming equipment that would otherwise rot away in landfills.
We collaborate with university researchers and professors to drive the
development of alternative modalities of cybersecurity education and
innovative uses for upcycled equipment.
